Walled City of Lahore Authority organized a Guided Tour of Old Havelis in Androon Lahore. This tour offered a rare opportunity to explore the architectural marvels and cultural heritage of the city’s most iconic Havelis.

This tour features a handpicked selection of Lahore’s most famous Havelis, each carrying its own unique history and charm. Visitor’s stepped inside Mubarik Haveli, a regal mansion steeped in history, and Haveli Wajid Ali Shah. The journey continues through the Noori Building and Haveli Nau Nehal Singh, a striking example of Sikh-era architecture. Visitors also got the chance to visit Naqsh Art School, a hub preserving traditional arts and crafts, and enjoyed an exclusive tour of the Fakir Khana Museum, which houses rare artifacts and paintings. Other highlights included the Haveli Awais Mir, the stunning Haveli Barood Khana, and an exciting Rangeela Rickshaw Ride, offering a colorful, traditional mode of transport through the bustling streets of the Walled City.

Speaking about the initiative, Director General of the Walled City of Lahore Authority, Kamran Lashari said:

"The Havelis of Androon Lahore are a testament to the city’s rich cultural and architectural heritage. Through this guided tour, we aim to revive interest in these historical treasures and offer people an opportunity to witness the grandeur of the past firsthand. We encourage both locals and tourists to explore these hidden gems and experience the essence of Lahore’s glorious history."

Around 100 people participated in this tour and enjoyed the walk along with history and old architecture of Lahore. This guided tour is designed for history lovers, architecture enthusiasts, and travelers looking for an authentic cultural experience.
